According to tradition, we celebrate Midsummer on the beach at the end of Karredvej in Hulsig, where we gather around the bonfire and the special atmosphere that belongs to Midsummer Eve.
This year's bonfire speech will be given by Emma Mercedes Riis, who runs the Ena Strand gallery in Skagen. Emma is also the newly elected chairwoman of Skagen Byting, and together with her husband she recently moved from Tversted to Hulsig, where they have now settled.
As part of the evening, we will sing together both the Midsummer Carol and "Jylland between two seas", and there will be an opportunity to buy refreshments on the beach.
We are looking forward to a cozy midsummer evening and hope to see many people at an atmospheric celebration by the beach.
