The top of Denmark offers rich opportunities for angling. Here there is a large selection of salt and fresh water areas, fjords, streams, lakes and seas. The various waters offer the opportunity to catch, among other things, cod, pike, sea trout, salmon, rainbow trout, mackerel, flounder and many more.

Pier fishing or Sea fishing from a boat
Mole fishing
In Skagen, Aalbæk and Hirtshals you can fish from the pier. From Vestre mole in Skagen you can catch flatfish and cod all year round.
In Hirtshals you can fish for flatfish, cod as well as mackerel and hornfish in season (from St. Hans to September) and from the pier in Aalbæk you can catch eels and flatfish.
Sea fishing from a boat
If you want to go out on the open sea with other happy fishermen, Hirtshals offers many different options.
Live well in your own holiday home
Of course, you have your fishing gear with you. And there must be room for that.
When you live at Skagen Strand Resort you get a fully equipped holiday home of 72 square meters, with beds for max. 5 or 7 people.

- If you would rather eat in your holiday home or on your own private terrace, you can order Take Away from the restaurant. Easy and convenient.
- You can also cook yourself. The holiday homes have a well-equipped kitchen, so you won't lack for anything.
- We also have a mini shop and every morning we bake rolls and bread, which you can order in advance. You can also choose a ready-made breakfast menu. Your order will be ready at the reception from 08.00
