VisitThe church was extensively restored up to the 100th anniversary in 1997. The blue color and the brick baptismal font date from this occasion.
The crucifix on the north wall is by Niels Helledie. It was acquired in connection with the church's 90th anniversary in 1987.
During the church's restoration in 1997, it was moved to the choir wall to the left of the choir arch, but moved back to the north wall at the same time as the hanging of the two icons by Annette Nepper-Christensen, Frederikshavn by the door to the porch in 2004.
The ship hanging from the ceiling is from 1910. It is a three-masted schooner named 'Arken' built by helmsman Kisby, Frederikshavn. It was purchased with funds raised at a church concert with the Aalbæk Singing Association.
The church is open all year round - contact the priest for visits.
North and northeast of the cemetery lies a flat landscape with cultivated areas, which means that the church can be seen from all corners of the world.
