The date of construction of Raabjerg Church is difficult to determine, but it is believed to be from around the 1300th century.

In about 1620, an extension was made to the church to the west. The east gable and south wall were rebuilt during the church's renovation in 1913.

The church's altarpiece was painted around 1897 by Anker Lund.

On the north wall hang some wooden figures from the late Gothic period, which are the remains of the original altarpiece. East of the church you will find a bell tower with one of the oldest church bells in the country.

The opera singer Aksel Schiøtz is buried in the cemetery.

Visits to Raabjerg Church can be arranged with the gravedigger at the above telephone number.
