Cycle all the way from beautiful Tversted Klitplantage to exciting Råbjerg Mile and explore the stretch in a completely new way.

Tversted Klitplantage - Råbjerg Mile.
A large forest area surrounded by wide stretches of heather and meadows with bogs and patches of peat - this is Tversted Rimmer and Tversted Municipal Plantage.
In this unpolished area there are many galleries and visual artists, working workshops and artisans.

After this, it is Tversted Søerne in Tversted Klitplantage that welcomes us. The man-made lakes close to the North Sea with the plantation on one side and the dunes on the other are beautiful all year round.
From the 2 lookout towers in the plantation there is a magnificent view of the forest and the beach. The stick mill "Østerklit" in the middle of the plantation has been preserved intact and is the only one in the country that can be seen in use when the wind blows.

The plantation is left and the tour continues through the dune landscape towards the next destination Råbjerg Mile – Europe's largest wandering dune.
On the way you will see one of the country's smallest churches – Råbjerg Church.

This cycle route is part of the route "On a cycle tour in the east". Route description and map can be picked up at Tversted Tourist Bureau.
