Tversted Beach

Enjoy a dip in the fresh sea and buy an ice cream at one of the many ice cream parlors. 

Enjoy the white sandy beaches at Tversted and Skiveren. Particularly child-friendly and with high dunes. 

All year round, the beach invites you to take a walk in the wonderful fresh air.
There are good parking and toilet facilities. Cars are allowed, but there is also a car-free area.

The beach attracts many visitors all year round, whether to enjoy a warm summer day by the water with gentle waves, or a winter day when the weather shows its harsh side with large waves crashing onto the beach and the sand blowing. Each season has its own charm at the beach.

At the boathouse there is information about bathing water quality, the nature at the beach, practical information in case of emergencies, oil discoveries and much more.

On Tversted beach, cars are allowed to drive in both directions. Dogs are also welcome on the beach - as long as they are kept on a leash and any litter is removed.

As part of the Zero Waste scheme in Tversted, large waste racks have been set up at the entrance to the beach, which please be used.
