Jerup Beach

Jerup Strand consists of a flat sandy beach with a single row of dunes, beach marsh and grazed meadows.

It is located on the Kattegat north of Frederikshavn. The area is privately owned but you can park by the beach and walk out onto the beach.

Take a walk along the beach and feel the fresh sea air, watch birds and collect shells and possibly amber.
There is a bivouac by the beach where you can cook food. Stay overnight in the bivouac (10-15 people). There is a campfire site, toilet and drinking water.
