Visit
The Skagen Coastal Museum is a combined open-air and exhibition museum with reconstructed houses from three periods in Skagen's history. Here you can see how the rich and poor fishermen lived under very different conditions.

In the exhibitions you can get up close to the brave rescuers and delve into the history of the legendary Skagens Badehotel, which was located on Grenen with its own airfield and VIP guests from all over the world.

All year round, the Coastal Museum offers various tours, exciting lectures, concerts and fun activities for children - especially during the school holidays.

The museum's youngest guests can always visit the activity house, where there are cozy and fun activities, fancy dress costumes and an exciting playhouse. During the school holidays, there are special activities, including a woodworking workshop and more.

During the summer period, there will be volunteer helpers who will show how to work with the old crafts.

You are also welcome to visit the museum's cozy café and courtyard, as well as the museum shop, which has an exciting selection of books, decorative items, toys and much more.
