Damstederne beach

Between Skagen Vesterby, Skagen Klitplantage and Kattegat lies the area colloquially known as Damstederne. It is the epitome of Skagen's nature: sea, beach, dunes and heath. Close to the city and high to the sky

Access from Damstedvej - on the border between Damstedfredningen and Skagen Dune Plantation, by the impressive Damsted Dune and the Royal Villa. 

Very beautiful beach, awarded the blue flag.

There are also ample opportunities for beach fishing.

It was here that PS Krøyer painted "Ladies on the Beach".
