Kandesteder - Skiveren beach

The somewhat harsh nature can be experienced at the beaches at Kandestederne and Skiveren.

The locations: Kandestedvej ends at the beach, where it is legal to drive a car. The beach is quite wide and firm and with high dunes that give a fantastic view of the sea and the flat landscape. A peaceful beach.

The disc: Råbjergvej also ends at the beach. A very wide and firm sandy beach with plenty of space for both sunbathing and playing, such as ball games and kite flying.

Skiveren is located in a protected nature area midway between Hirtshals and Skagen on the west coast of Skagen Odde. The beach at Skiveren is wide and has a Blue Flag. Driving on the beach is permitted, so those with walking difficulties can get right down to the beach. The coastline is protected by dunes with seagrass, and behind the dunes is a very scenic area with forest and heather-covered moorland. There is also a campsite and many holiday homes that can be rented.
