World Ballet in Skagen - Ballet, opera, culture, nature...

The World Ballet presents its performance at the Tilsandede Church in Skagen - Skagen's largest and most iconic landmark.

Magical is probably the adjective that best describes the very special experience when some of the world's most talented ballet dancers perform together with Danish opera singers and classical musicians.

The breeze, the sunset and the evening light complement the artists' performance in a completely unique way, and our faithful summer guests from all over the country ensure that the performance has always been sold out for the past many years.

World Ballet tenor and emcee Jens-Christian Wandt leads the artistic framework of the performance and ensures that everyone – beginners and experts – can participate.

A number of the world's finest and most famous ballet dancers participate.

These are ballerinas and solo dancers from The Royal Ballet of London, the Marinskiij Balletten in St. Petersburg and the State Balletten in Berlin. Together with Danish musicians and singers, the performance offers a program of ballet and opera. Ballet from both the classical and modern repertoire, arias and scenes from the world of opera and classical music for violin and piano.
