Order online
When booking online, the full amount (100%) is paid incl. possibly additional purchase at the same time as booking. Immediately afterwards, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Order per phone or email
As soon as possible after receipt of the order, we will forward Skagen Strand an order confirmation with payment advice. The order is binding for the customer after booking, and for Skagen Strand when the amount is received.

When ordering by phone or email, stays worth more than DKK 5.000 can be paid in 2 installments. For the 1st installment, 40% of the amount must be paid no later than 10 days after receipt of order confirmation. The remaining 60% must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival. If the 1st installment is not paid on time, Skagen Strand entitled to cancel the stay. If the 2nd installment is not paid on time, Skagen Strand entitled to cancel the stay, and the 1st installment will not be refunded.

For stays with a value of less than DKK 5.000, the amount must be paid no later than 10 days after receipt of order confirmation. If payment is not made on time, Skagen Strand entitled to cancel the stay.

Payment
On Skagen Strand You can pay with Dankort/VISA-Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, American Express, JBC and MobilePay.

We do not charge card fees.

Right of Cancellation
When you book a stay with any additional purchases, such as activities and catering with us for a specific date or period, then the agreement cannot be cancelled. 

Cancellation
Cancellation protection of 5% of the stay can be purchased in connection with booking and is paid together with the full amount. In the event of cancellation of a stay due to acute illness, accident or death affecting the customer, spouse, children, parents or siblings, the entire amount will be refunded against a medical certificate. Cancellation protection covers from the date of subscription until arrival at the holiday home. In the event of cancellation due to the above, a medical certificate/death certificate must be sent to Skagen Strand.

  • In case of cancellation without cancellation protection, which takes place from the time of ordering to no later than 30 days before arrival, DKK 500 is paid. in fee..
  • In case of cancellation without cancellation protection between 30 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the rental amount is paid.
  • In case of cancellation without cancellation protection, which occurs less than 2 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the full rental amount of the stay is paid.

Changes
For changes to bookings, a processing fee of DKK 100 is paid. Changes that result in the postponement of an agreed period or changes that are made less than 2 days before arrival are to be considered as cancellation for a new order.

Skagen Strands cancellation of the booking
The booking can be cancelled. Skagen Strand is cancelled due to force majeure (disaster, strike, riots, acts of war, pandemic, epidemic or similar), in which case Skagen Strand is obliged to notify the customer as soon as possible. The customer is not entitled to any compensation.

Discounts
Offers and discounts cannot be combined.

Departure outside reception opening hours
If you wish to depart outside the reception's opening hours, please contact the reception the day before departure during its opening hours, with a view to settlement. If you leave without settlement, an invoice will be sent with a processing fee of DKK. 250,-

Warranty
The rules of the Swedish Purchase Act apply to the purchase of goods, but not to services. This means that, as a rule, you do not have a 2-year right to make a complaint.
