Handicap-friendly resort that can meet most needs
A disability should not prevent you from enjoying wonderful holidays here at Skagen Strand Resort.
At our handicap-friendly Resort you live in the middle of the beautiful North Jutland nature. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet if you wish, and it is not far to Skagen town or other experiences in the area.
We are a disabled-friendly Resort, where both our holiday homes and the main building are disabled-friendly. This means that there are no steps on the ground floor of the houses and that the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair. There is also direct wheelchair access to the south-facing terrace. The main building of our Resort has easy wheelchair access to both the reception area and the restaurant. And of course there are disabled toilets.
Accessible for those with additional needs
Our goal is to make your stay at our disability-friendly resort as comfortable as possible. We will therefore do everything we can to accommodate your disability.
If you have special needs, it is therefore important that you contact us when booking. This allows us to clarify your needs as early as possible. This can range from minor solutions, such as installing a wheelchair-friendly toilet seat in the holiday home and placing a chair in the shower cubicle, to major needs.
We have several solutions available here at our handicap-friendly Resort. Among other things, we can place a hospital bed in the bedroom on the ground floor of the holiday home.
If you need this type of additional equipment, please contact the assistance centre through your municipality. They can provide equipment - and we will of course make sure to get it all in place here at our handicap-friendly Resort.
