Water is important to all of us. We want to make it easy for you to use less water without affecting your experience and comfort. 

We have water-saving showers and toilets, so that both you as a guest and we as a holiday center save on water.

We don't save on heat, but on energy. This is done by using energy windows and by using heating and cooling as needed. We make it easy for you to save energy while ensuring a comfortable temperature and good indoor climate.

We don't save on light but on energy. This is done by using low-energy lighting, sensors and intelligent control of the light.

We make it easy for you to save on energy while at the same time ensuring you cozy and functional lighting.

from 2023 consumption is no longer included in our price, but must be paid according to the actual consumption at check out. As a guest, you thus have a direct influence on consumption and price in the holiday home. You can influence your own consumption by

• Turn down the temperature in the holiday home
• Take shorter showers
• Fill the dishwasher before starting it
• Close windows and doors
• By saving energy, you save money - and not least the environment!

We use environmentally friendly and eco-labelled cleaning agents, and equipment and work processes, so that less agents and water are used.

We want you to have a better indoor climate with less chemicals from cleaning agents while keeping things clean and tidy. 

We sort ordinary and environmentally hazardous waste so that as much as possible is recycled and does not harm the environment. We want to make it easy for you to sort your waste without compromising your experience and comfort.

We convey information digitally and thus save paper - and you always have the necessary information at hand. 

Before your arrival, you will receive an email from us with useful information before your stay. 

At check-in, you will receive a welcome SMS, where you will find additional information that you may find useful during your stay.

Trains and bicycles are more environmentally friendly transport than, for example, cars and taxis. We want to make it easy for you to use environmentally friendly means of transport.

Look at the website, your welcome SMS or contact the reception for information on public transport and bicycle hire.

Skagen Strand The holiday center is located in the middle of a beautiful natural area and many of our activities are based precisely on this proximity to nature. Therefore, it is extra important for us to address climate change and work for climate- and environmentally friendly operation of the holiday center. However, this without compromising the guests' comfort and holiday experiences.

The little things also mean a lot, and as a guest with us you can contribute to taking care of the environment by:

• keep doors and windows closed when the heat is on
• adjust the temperature so that it is not too hot
• turn off the light when leaving the holiday home
• save on water consumption
• fill the dishwasher completely when possible
• contact reception if leaks are detected
• sort waste and put it in the respective waste containers.
• ensure that windows and doors are closed when you leave the home
