Take your dog to the holiday centre
We know that your dog is an important part of the family, which is why you can book accommodation with a dog here with us.
Living in a hotel or holiday home with a dog can present many challenges, but with us the setting is perfect.
Your holiday home is in the middle of the most beautiful nature and it is therefore both easy and wonderful to go for a walk with your four-legged friend. If you are fresh in the morning, you should go for a walk along the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunrise.
Near Skagen Strand Holiday center, within walking distance, there is a designated dog park that is fenced so your dog can run freely.
Or take a wonderful evening walk with your dog and enjoy the sea and the calm. Then it is much better to stay in a holiday home than in a hotel with your dog.
Overnight stay with dog
Our holiday homes are spacious and bright, and there is also plenty of space for your dog. Therefore, you can safely book accommodation with a dog with us. Besides the beautiful and accessible nature and beach, the private terrace is perfect for a relaxing afternoon and your dog will love to be with his family most of the time.
The only thing you need to remember is of course to always keep your dog on a leash and use poop bags. If you run out or have forgotten to bring your dog bags, you can get them at reception. We also recommend not leaving your dog alone in the holiday home.
The dog must not be taken into the main building, i.e. reception area, mini shop, water park and restaurant.
Cleaning and extra payment
For the sake of the next guests in the holiday home, extra cleaning must be done after visits with dogs. It therefore costs a little extra for cleaning when you have your dog with you.
Extra cleaning costs DKK 250. per dog per stay regardless of whether it is a weekend stay or a longer stay. Please note that you max. can have 2 dogs in the house, and that dogs must not enter other holiday homes during the stay.
When you book a stay online, you simply have to mark that you have a dog with you. Or you state it when you book per telephone. If you forget to state that you have a dog with you, you can always let the reception know at check-in.
If we are not informed at the latest at check out that you have a dog with you, in addition to the extra cost for cleaning, there will be an extra fee of DKK 500. and we forward the bill.
